1. dan – Erasmus+K2

PONEDELJEK, 20.3.2017

Erasmus – Monday, 20th of March 2017

Today our school accepted 12 foreign students and their teachers. The program started early in the morning. First mrs. Mahnič spoke about the events that will happen throughout the week. Our culture was presented to them with some help of our school’s folklore club. Later followed our students with a presentation about our country in general, a short presentation about Škofja Loka and a presentation about our school. After all the presentations from our students started the presetations about Portugal. Three students from there presented the country, their school and their home town, Povoa de Varzim.

When the presentations ended mrs. Mahnič took us to her classroom. We played an interesting game there, which confused our brains a lot. After the visit we had a snack break followed by a tour of our school. The tour included visiting 2nd graders. They were making their ownc cajons (drum – like instruments). The foreigners also played on the instruments later on.

We went out to the school stadium afterwards and played our and Portugal’s traditional games.

At around 2pm we started our adventure to Ljubljana. We first took a bus to the train station and then we took the train to Ljubljana. When we arrived a tour of the city, made by Nejc, Nina and Lara started. We visited all the best known sights and even walked to the castle. We also had some spare time afterwards to buy anything we wished to. We arrived back home by a train.
